AFA Protocol beta terms

This agreement is between you and Infrastructure Driven Growth And Future (IDGAF Holdings LLC), a Wyoming limited liability company. Write to idgafholdingsllc@gmail.com.

Accepting these terms is how you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not sign in.

Two other documents go with this one and you accept all three together: the acceptable use policy and the privacy notice. Where they say more than this document does, they say it about their own subject and this one still governs everything else.

Counsel has not reviewed these documents. They were written by the operator of the service and approved by the operator. That is a real act of authority and it is recorded as exactly that. It is not legal advice, to you or to us, and a review is pending. This paragraph will be removed when that review has happened, and its removal will change the version and the hash.

This is a beta, and what that means for you

AFA Protocol is in beta.

We may change it, stop running it, or change what it costs. We do not promise it will be available, and we do not promise a notice period before a change. Do not put work on it that you cannot afford to lose.

The free period, and what happens after it

Your account is free for thirty days from the day your first API key is created. Not from the day you sign up. Signing in to read these documents does not start the clock; issuing a key does, because a key is the first moment the account can do anything at all.

GET /v1/billing/status reports the date, which side of it you are on, and how many days are left. You get four notices: ten days before the date, five days before, one day before, and on the day itself.

After the free period, use continues by arrangement with us. There is no automatic charge, no stored payment method, and no price published anywhere in this service. What continued access costs, if anything, is agreed in a conversation, and GET /v1/usage/summary shows what your account has actually called so you can read the numbers before that conversation.

What stops, and when. Seven days after the free period ends, a WRITE from an account that has not asked us for continued access is refused, with a response naming the route that lifts the refusal. Reads are never refused. Your record stays readable and exportable at every point, including after a refusal and including after the account is closed, because a record you cannot get out of is not your record.

Asking is enough to stop the refusal. Post to /v1/billing/transition-request, or press Request continued access in the console. That lifts it immediately and keeps it lifted, whatever we do about the request afterwards and however long we take. We are the slow party in that conversation and you should not be blocked while we get to it.

Seats

The beta takes a bounded number of accounts. The bound is how many accounts we can read the record of and answer questions about, not what the service can hold.

GET /v1/seats reports the number and how many are left. When none are left, a new address cannot get a sign-in code and is pointed at POST /v1/inquiries instead. An account that already exists is never affected by the seat count.

What the service does

It records what an agent did and what it was allowed to do at the time.

It checks an action against a policy before a supported tool runs, and records the decision either way.

It keeps those records in a chain, so a record cannot be moved or removed without the chain showing it.

What the record can tell you, and what it cannot

The record can tell you three things:

• A stored record has not been altered since it was signed.
• A check ran against a policy before the action.
• A chain is continuous, or it is broken at a named point.

The record cannot tell you the action was a good idea. It cannot tell you the policy was the right policy. It cannot tell you the agent did useful work.

We do not say that using AFA Protocol satisfies any law, regulation, standard, or audit. It produces evidence. Deciding what that evidence is worth is your job, and your auditor's.

Do not use this service where the record would be relied on for a decision that affects someone's safety. It was not built for that, it has not been assessed for it, and nothing in it is designed to fail safe in the sense a safety-critical system means.

The limits are the product

We store what you send. The client is built to send a hash of a tool's arguments rather than the arguments themselves. If you send content instead of a hash, we store the content. Read what your client sends before you send it. The privacy notice says more about this.

Adding, not editing. A correction is a new record saying what was corrected. A break in a chain is recorded as a break, at the point it happened. We do not smooth it over.

Verification does not need us. Records are signed with a key you register. The public key that checks an order-bound token is served without a credential, so a third party with no account here can check one. You can check a chain yourself, from your own copy, with the service offline. If we stop running, your evidence still verifies.

Acceptable use

The full policy is a separate document (acceptable_use) and you accept it along with this one. In short: nothing unlawful, nothing that tries to defeat the record, nothing safety-critical, and no sharing of your credentials.

Your data

The privacy notice (privacy_notice) is a separate document and you accept it along with this one. It says what we hold, why, how long, and how to get a copy or have it deleted.

Suspending and closing an account

We may suspend an account that breaches the acceptable use policy, that is using the service in a way that degrades it for others, or where we are required to. We will tell you the reason at the address on the account. Where the breach can be fixed, we will say what would fix it.

We may close an account for a breach that is not fixed, or on thirty days notice for any reason, or immediately if we stop running the service. If we stop running the service we will say so at the address on the account and give you a window to export.

You may close your account at any time by writing to us. There is nothing to cancel and nothing to pay.

Export survives closure. For thirty days after a closure we initiated, you can still get a copy of your records. Ask us and we will send it.

No warranty

The service is provided as it is. We make no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty that it will be available, correct, complete, or fit for a particular purpose.

We do not warrant that a record will be accepted by any auditor, regulator or court.

Limits on what we owe you

To the extent the law allows:

• We are not liable for lost work, lost data, lost profit, lost revenue, lost opportunity, or any indirect or consequential loss, however it arises.
• Where liability cannot be excluded, everything we owe you in total is limited to what you have actually paid us in the twelve months before the claim. During the free period that amount is nothing, and we are saying plainly what that means: the limit is zero.

Nothing here excludes liability that the law does not allow to be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Changes to these terms

These terms are versioned and each version has a content hash computed from its own text. Change one sentence and the hash moves.

A new version does not apply to you until you accept it. When the text changes you are asked again at your next sign-in, and the acceptance we record names the version and the hash of the exact text you were shown.

Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts sitting in Wyoming have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute that arises from it, and you and we each submit to that jurisdiction.

Wyoming is the forum because Infrastructure Driven Growth And Future (IDGAF Holdings LLC) is a Wyoming limited liability company. The operator chose it on 2026-09-08; the counsel review named above has not yet happened, and if it changes this section the version and the hash will change with it and you will be asked to accept the new text.
